Apple tops in downloads

"13.4 billion app downloads in Q1 2013, Apple tops profit" http://feedly.com/k/11Ovryq.   It seems Apple knows what people like and it
must be the apps. The Google equivalent is good but in my humble  opinion but it needs a overhaul, most of the apps available are second rate and just don't have the "sparkle" that Apple has. Bur if you have an Android phone I'm sure your happy with it.  Im not a hater of Android they just don't have the simplicity that I like.  Am I right or wrong?
